Geo Genesis Group Limited (`Geo Genesis' or `the Company')
Exercise and Issue of options
The Board of Geo Genesis Group Limited, an advisory and investment company
focussed on China and other emerging markets, has today issued 330,000 new
ordinary shares of 1p each in the Company (`Ordinary Shares') pursuant to the
exercise of options at a price of 5p by Non-Executive Chairman Marc Koplik. Of
these shares 305,000 arise from options granted from the unallocated portion of
the Company's share option plan as described in the admission document.
Application shall be made to register the shares with PLUS within the next 21
days. The new shares will be issued and allotted and will rank pari passu with
the existing Ordinary Shares of 1p each in the Company. Following the exercise
of options, the enlarged issued share capital of the Company is 68,055,692
Ordinary Shares.
The Company also announces that it granted options over 250,000 ordinary shares
at an exercise price of 32.5p per share to Orange Corporate Finance Ltd and
options over 75,000 ordinary shares to Ian Davison, an Independent Director of
Geo Genesis, at an exercise price of 32.5p per share. Additionally, options
over 1,000,000 ordinary shares at an exercise price of 30p per share have been
granted to Joëlle Mekers, Senior Managing Director, Head of Project Finance at
Geo Genesis. These options will vest on the date of issue and will thereafter
be exercisable at any time until March 31st 2012 in the case of those issued to
Orange Corporate Finance Ltd and Mr. Ian Davison, and February 24th 2012 in the
case of those issued to Ms. Joelle Mekers.
